Cam systems
The patented five-way technique for knitting en-
ables a selective stitch length for stitch and tuck
loop which can be programmed with an accuracy
of a single needle. In this way, the stitch length can
be varied considerably from needle to needle in
each knitting system. Simultaneously, each cam system can transfer. All the systems can be equip-
ped with stitch splitting as an option. Needle select-
ion is carried out by a mono-magnetic system.

Five-way technique

avoid idle traverses, combine knitting operations,

Carriages
The MC-800 / MC-300 series is equipped with
compact light alloy carriages which can easily be coupled or uncoupled.

Operation and control
Programs can be edited completely. You can simultaneously program and knit. The modular
control unit based on a standard PC uses the
same operating system on the MA-8000 / MA-8500 pattern design workstation and on MC-800 knitting machines.

Center racking
Center racking makes it possible to rack the
needle bed, e.g. between the left and right
narrowing process.

Yarn supply
The yarn supply consists of 4 double profile rails
with yarn carrier boxes. The yarn carrier positions
are automatically optimized for the entire fabric
before knitting.

Yarn guide unit
The ergonomically designed yarn guide unit can
be adjusted in height, thus facilitating practical
and convenient operation. The combined knot
and yarn breakage detectors with indicator lamps make a difference between small and large knots.
Yarn with small knots is knitted in reduced speed.
The yarn brakes are selfcleaning.

Main take-down unit, upper take-down unit
Both units can be programmed separately. The
take-down pressure can be adapted to the current fabric width automatically. Programmable automatic fast run to stretch the fabric. Backwards run to
reduce the fabric tension.

Protective detectors
All machines are equipped with detectors for yarn breakage, knots, load-up, shock, over-load, fabric
loss, fabric wind-round, and with a temperature detector for important control devices.
